2 Years Freelancing! ⚔️

Two years ago today I started my journey as a Freelancer. ⚔️

I recall the feeling of, to quote one of my favourite movies, "taking a leap of faith".

A lot had happened that led me to make this decision, too many to explain here. However, I will say that a burning need for autonomy and flexibility post-pandemic had a lot to do with it.🙂‍↕️

I am also more accepting of my neurodiversity and have come to realise that freelancing really suits my particular weave of neural circuits. 🧠 I created my branding and was advised to create something that would later be easier to scale & expand upon. ⬆️🏹

The pinwheel logo was born, symbolising creativity, freedom and playfulness. The origami nature of the logo represents my dedication and attention to detail, and inspired by the Japanese arts and crafts, taking great care every fold and crease. The logo has now reached what I consider it's final form.🩵

New Branding & Banners

All of my banners and social pages will be updated to reflect the final branding and identity. And next week I will finally launch my final website with the following updates:

• Expanded & Updated Portfolio.

• Timeline About Me Page.

• Simplified Rates & Packages.

+ a whole lot more.

I wanted to close off this post with saying this is by far the HARDEST thing I have ever done.

It has made me check my worth, position myself strategically in the market, pitch myself and my experience (and learned to appreciate the knowledge I have accumulated) as well as take great joy in making new connections and working with clients who are so passionate about games, players and developers. ⭐

The next step on this journey is quite exciting, and will further test my drive, abilities and capabilities. I can't wait to share more so keep an eye on my space.
