Childhood of Games

I grew up in a small town called Levanger in Norway, in a household that LOVED playing video games as much as they loved watching video games being played.
My mother's love for Zelda and Mario ensured a Nintendo console was always present and games were often bought at launch. I still remember her figuring out how to use the torch to light up the rooms in A Link to the Past, and how she wasn't quite sure about the new style direction of Wind Waker when the trailer dropped in in 2001. I watched her stare quizzically at her Wii Remote when Link's Crossbow Training dropped, not sure if she was THAT dedicated to the franchise.
Her enthusiasm and love of the Zelda series inspired me, and I spent countless hours playing through Ocarina of Time, delighted that it had my name in the title and to this day I still think the water temple was one of the most infuriating dungeons.
My father's enthusiasm for Halo & Fable meant I could always try my hand at the Xbox and experience games with more intense combat and action sequences. I believe he still has his limited edition Halo 360.
I myself plugged the gap in the gaming system collection with PC & PlayStation where I spent my time playing Diablo & Final Fantasy 10 as well as various city builders like Black & White 2 and SimCity.
My teenage years I spent at LANs with my friends who became a bond of protective brothers for me. They showed me how to troubleshoot connectivity issues, configure secure connections and how to get my hands on all of the Anime I could ever need! I had a pretty good nerdy childhood!

It is with my strong PC foundation that I was able to showcase my skills when Ubisoft headhunted me for a Customer Support role at their Newcastle office. I was dumbfounded and grateful for the opportunity. So in 2016 I officially became a part of the Ubisoft network as a Norwegian Customer Support Agent.

I began my Community Management journey at Ubisoft as the Community Manager for The Division in 2019 when I helped launch their DLC. I spent a wonderful 3+ years managing the community, years I look back upon fondly.

In 2023 helped craft the content launch strategy on For the King 2 at Curve Games, and I was at the forefront of executing that plan with our First Party studio. I've taken my passion for games and community management to the freelance space where I am crafting strategy & content for not only games but also for anyone looking for a community manager to elevate and handle their content and channels.
